SHOPPING. HEY, LOOK SOME INJURIES.

We're doing some Thanksgiving shopping, so hey, look: Florida's got some injuries, so they plan on rotating our suddenly bottomless well of defensive tackles to cope with the nicks and scrapes.

And now, for no reason whatsover, Evil Nine's "They Live."

“Meyer said Antwine will be held out of practice today and Wednesday due to soreness in his back. Antwine missed last season when a muscle in his back died.”

All of you go buy this album f’ing immediately.

I’m not sure what “a muscle in his back died” means… I am familiar with how brain cells die, but dying muscles sounds real bad.

It is now martini time… you spare brain cells want a cigarette with that blindfold?

Hey was that Evil Nine video filmed at AIG Headquarters? Because employees and management like that is the only way you can lose billions and billions of dollars, on purpose.
I think I have worked with managers like that. Good things about recessions, you get better quality people at McDonalds and Burger King, and the drive thru is on par with Chik-Fil-A.

This must be the answer to Gen. Stoopnagles request for new content in the previous thread.

This site continues to entertain and broaden me in ways I could not hope to expect.

Hope you’re f’ing kidding, Holly.

If you don’t like zombie dancehall punk I don’t know what to tell you, except to f’ing fuck off.

Evil Nine – fan-fucking-tastic.

Adam Freeland is my musical soul mate. Evil Nine will be in the bridal party of my fantasy musical wedding.

Freeland’s “We want your soul” is one of the greatest musical creations of our modern time.

Come to think of it – Marine Parade is a fantastic music label.

what? Oh yeah… college football. Um, Go UNLV!

Vegas—speaking of Marine Parade, is Evil Nine evolving in the exact same direction as Freeland (in a good way), or is it just me? (See They Live vs. Mexico City.)

Nerd out warning:
The first time I heard Mexico City I was really disappointed. It took a couple of listens for it to really sink in for me that this was an evolution that had been coming, I just wasn’t mentally prepared for it. I never gave up on the mix, and I’ve never hated it, but it was REALLY unexpected…. which is what I should have expected…

I’ve since put the CD into regular rotation and still enjoy it.

Ya, I’d agree they’re moving in the same direction. It took me a little while to come around to it, but I really like the style. Maybe I’m just old now and don’t want 130BPM creatively thrown together on a laptop all the time… who knows.

I like talent, that’s for sure.

O – sorry for turing your CFB site into a music blog. I’ll get back to nerding out about CFB, I promise :)

I, on the other hand, am not sorry, because it’s just that good.

No kidding, I had the exact same reaction; I was so weirded out by it at first. It took me weeks to come around on it, and now I can’t turn it off.

MPP,

There is no drive thru like the Chick-fil-A drive thru. Ever. Please refrain from further blaspheming.

I had heard about a new freeland album sometime in early ‘09, I’ll be anxious to hear what other surprises he has in store.

Thank you, Holly.

May I have another?
