Tressel let his deposed captain throw one last TD pass against Michigan on Senior Day.

If Wolverine feelings are hurt, or some idiots think it was running up the score, so be it. Todd Boeckman earned the right to do more than hand off or kneel down during his last home game.

BTW, the Vest killed the clock with the 3rd team QB.

Ans. No. 5. (as the Bob Davie quoter in question)

I don't mean to oversimplify guys who go by "BurritoBrosShits", but did you notice the Davie "article" follows an actual example written by an actual college defensive coordinator? I guess they covered the compare/contrast method in freshman composition while you were in the john.

So, what about the post do you disagree with anyway, Bro?

If Notre Dame is truly hurting because of academics-then I hope they let some "questionable grades" guys in.

If Notre Dame is hurting because South Bend is too cold, then I hope for global warming.

If Notre Dame is hurting because of Weis, then I hope...well, you get the point.

Goddamn it, I don't like to overly simplify one particular type of fan, but there is a 'discussion' on dawgsports right now on how to counter the the triple option. Citing Bob Davie's football 101 page does not make you look particularly savvy now does it? Apparently the Dawgs got the triple option down pat and are ready to hit dat ass. (woops reverted DaU-speak)
Explain to me how the loose network of computers can dole out sage wisdom like MCP from Tron? The discrepancy between the human rankings and the computers' is just too great. Unless they know something we don't know, which considering how Sci-fi and Hollywood tell it; they do and we're fucked, there has to be a better fucking way then listening to some asshole in a bunker (Sagarin) a bunch of computers in a bunker, and then the opinions of coaches and the media. There has to be a fatwa on the BCS somewhere, check Fallujah.

Couple of things real quick:

1. Iowa is quietly having a nice year...should provide a nice opponent in the bowl games.

2. In the 2005 version of the BCS where SOS was factored in...would Alabama with their SOS of around 70ish still be ahead of Texas with their SOS of 1? Doubt it.

3. How in the world do teams like Florida or OU lose a game this year? Does it provide insight into the theory that teams should be graded on how they are playing towards the end of the year and how each game is a singular event - meaning that on any given day the #2 ranked team could lose by 40+ plus points and it would just be another week in the season - not a life altering event. If for no other reason, some sort of play off is needed just to bring a little bit of balance and sanity back to college football - either that or just return to the traditional bowl match-ups and dump the crap NCG that is played 100 weeks after the regular season on a Tuesday night in a dome somewhere.

4. This year's Michigan team is the absolute worst Michigan team I have ever seen take the field in my life. How we only scored 42 points is beyond me.

5. If I were an Alabama fan I would be concerned that Nick Saban does not have a buyout in his contract and Notre Dame is just about sick and tired of being sick and tired. It's all coming, we know it is...the day that ND sells its soul and lowers the academic standards enough to begin to be competitive again - and when they do they will be looking for a blood-thirsty head coach bring America's team back to glory...lol.
