where’s Utah playing then…if its texas/usc
Fiesta – (Texas/TTU)/(USC/Boise if OSUwest loses?)
Rose – PSU /(USC/OSUwest)
Orange – ACC/Big East
Sugar – (SECCG loser)/Utah
BCS Champ – OU/(SECCG winner)
How does this seem to people? What do you think it will be for the BCS games?

What’s the pecking order for at large BCS bids?
i.e. would the Sugar Bowl have 1st shot at USC before the Fiesta?

I don’t think anyone could be called crazy if they placed an over bet on 100pts right now.

It’s Fiesta/Sugar/Orange.
Not counting the replacement picks for the National Title game.
So probably Sugar/Fiesta/Fiesta/Sugar/Orange.
The Orange Bowl – Four-loss ACC team vs Utah. A ratings bonanza.

Steve says:
@ Meth
The team losing the higher ranked school will get first pick, according to the selection procedures.
So if the SECCG winner is BCS #1 the sugar bowl would get the first replacement pick by virtue of losing the top team. If the big 12 team is #1 then the Fiesta bowl gets first pick.

Brian – The Orange will get the last pick of the slot opposite the ACC Champion after all of the other games make their selections. My guess is that they will likely be the ones drawing Utah or Boise State.

I disagree. Utah would send more fans to New Orleans than Cincinnati would, so the Sugar would go with the Utes.

John – But how many of those fans would be drinking? Louisiana’s heavily-taxed and revenue-reliant liquor purveyance industry (among the other sin-based industries there) may not want to take that kind of a decrease in business. JMHO.

It would be nice, but I doubt it. The nod will probably go to OU.
We lost to Tech. But it was evident that the Horns were tired and hurting in Lubbock. We were coming off a string of ranked opponents. OU hasn’t faced a string quite like that, but those are the breaks. Again, we lost to the Raiders.
Oklahoma wanted this game and they wanted payback for last year’s loss. I can’t blame them.
Kudos to OU for a great game.

Surely the Alabama vs. OSU rating will be higher than vs Utah. (As will the liquor tax revenues!)
