“utah is better than 4 or 5 teams in the SEC”
really, orson? I’d put the count closer to 6 or 7.

Good lord, they asked me about the ACC standings. That’s just not fair for dog or man.

I didn’t get to hear but did you inform them that David Pollack is horrible on the radio and to bring back Chuck Oliver?

#2: I’d say 9 (anyone who’s watched LSU and thinks they could beat Utah is praying for a sudden inexplicable burst of competence from their QB). And I think it’d be a hell of a game against Georgia.

2 & 5
I think Utah could invent a time machine and beat each Super Bowl champion of the past 20 years.
What’s that? This isn’t “Unbelievable Bullshit Hyperbole Hour”? Oh, in that case I agree with Orson’s 4-5 estimate.

SpartanDan,
Come on man. Like Ole Miss barely lost to Wake Forest and like Vandy totally almost beat Duke (in Nashville). Did you or did you not see what Mississippi State did with Louisana Tech? Wyoming ain’t got nothing on Tennessee, execpt some good fortune. You can’t blame Auburn for struggling at West Virginia, its cold up there. Look at the big wins the teams like LSU, Kentucky and Arkansas narrowly pulled out against juggernauts like Troy, MTSU, and Tulsa. Those guys are tough when you get beat up on by the above other teams week in week out!
Seriously, what SEC are you watching, bro? Utah has no ESSS EEEE SEEEE speed, no chance they could hang.
(PS I agree with you)

or, perhaps you missed the Utah @ Michigan game?

(i know, late and irrelevant, yawn…just read it)
in defense of the ESS EEE SEE (and you, Mr. Hall), Utah doesn’t have to beat just ONE of the (bottom-dwelling) SEC teams to be as good as the SEC teams listed above.
Utah actually has to beat at least 3 of them.
this year, the teams with less than 3 wins in conference qualify as the worst 4-5 that Msgr. Swindle predicted they might be better than…here, read and be edified:
to be considered better than those bottom 4-5 teams, they have to win at least one and as many as 2 SEC games.
definitely plausible.
however, to be considered better than the bottom 5…the win slope increases dramatically from there, winning 3 or 4 games to be in consideration for a top 6 team in the SEC, much less to be considered better than 9 (lawdy!) teams…which requires at least 6 SEC wins.
needless to say (but said anyway, har), no team that gives up (23, what?!) numerous sacks to MWC etc. foes is a credible contender for the ESS EEE SEE crown.
in fact, i’m pretty sure there are no top-half SEC teams with much more than 15 sacks allowed on the season….lulz pwnd
thanks for playing MWC-homers, and good luck with OU/TTech/Texas/Missou/OkSt in AZ.
