I showed this picture to my 10 yr old daughter when she over heard me describing the uniform to a friend on the phone. She LOVED it, and stated, “the shoes need eyes like these, though”….pointing to an old stuffed animal that has those eyes where the pupils sort of float around when you move them.

Arizona in red pants is one of the ugliest uniforms in I-A football. The fact that the Wildcats were NOT sporting the ugliest threads in Autzen Stadium on Saturday night says a lot for the pure hideousness of the Duck’s uniform.
Those wing did not make me think of water fowl or any other bird for that matter. It made me think of the “Winged Hussars” that the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth used to field in the 17th century.
