FERGIT, HELL NAW! MISSISSIPPI NEVER FERGITS
You think they'd be happy now with Giggity McRunfirst putting them into the realm of decent, competent football, but nooooooo this is Mississippi, and they fergit nothin'. Like what? Like the fact that this year is the tenth anniversary of Tommy Tuberville, who said he'd leave Ole Miss in a pine box, leaving there very much alive and in an airplane to take the Auburn job.
If you didn't think this wouldn't be to the tune of Margaritaville, you are sadly, sadly unfamiliar with contemporary Southern culture.
We're not really huge fans of the song, but HOLY SHITBALLS LOOK AT THAT BEARD. It's majestic, and probably gets you two votes in most municipal elections. Also, they have a MySpace page, and it is disturbing.

Wow, Orson. You managed to make a post about an SEC school not named the University of Florida without bashing its fans as being intolerant RACISTS!! You did manage, however, to poke fun of our accents. I guess the lack of hair gel and man purses threw you for a loop. You’ll get ’em next time, champ!

‘Disturbing’ doesn’t quite cover it…so to speak…

I had a hardy laugh over that one. Of course, being a Bama fan, I always get a kick out of Tommy Tubberville’s misfortunes.
Also, is it just me, or does anyone notice the striking resemblance between Tubberville and Biden?

Is it more disturbing that I went to their myspace page and without logging in, the only person at the bottom is a friend of mine?

The picture’s not complete without their YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/thelexingtonbrothers. My personal fave is “I Hate Doyle Jackson.”
Seriously, I know one of these guys (the singer without a guitar)—we both worked at the campus radio station and he’s quite the documentarian and filmmaker. He’s done films on Chucky Mullins and the 11th Mississippi “University Greys,” and he’s in charge of the Oxford Film Festival. This whole music gig is just for shits and giggles.

Were they playing at an elementary school library? Kids will have nightmares…

hailstate-
This is preaching to the choir, but I am always amazed how people think that ZERO rednecks go to Ole Pi$$.
I can remember a old fart here in Blowing Rock who sed they’d have a Phi Beta Kappa Chapter any day. This took place about 20 years ago.
They are the WORST, followed closely by the useless GameChix. The only difference is that USChix is in a beeg city, and I have no problem with Cola, which makes Jackson look like Medidian (mah home town).

I’m an Auburn alum and I just emailed this to every Auburn alum I know. I laughed, I cried, then I laughed some more to keep from crying more. This season has drained me to the point of delirium. I’m listening (your read it right…listening) to the Homecoming game in the prone position with a wet rag on my forehead and a bourbon IV drip. War Eagle.

I’am an Auburn fan and I laughed like hell. You gotta laugh to keep from crying sometimes.
I’ll be in Auburn saturday. Not at the game mind you, but at the Olde Auburn Ale House downing some damned fine handcrafted beers.
Son, when you participate in sporting events, it’s not whether you win or lose: it’s how drunk you get.

shesaid and inthevalley: I feel like I feel like you do about this season, but my team is currently 7-2. I can’t imagine your pain and I’d feel bad for you but for that game next weekend.
