WASHINGTON FOOTBALL: LESS DRAMA, MORE LAWNCARE

Graham Watson writes that the Weis/Willingham feud is soooooo 2005. Agreed. Washington football's all about meticulous lawncare in 2008.

Pretty sure Tubs will replace Ty.

So what is representing the birth of the Husky offense? The blade of grass growing or the steamer Ty is undoubtedly leaving behind? My guess is that this pic was taken somewhere on number 11 or 12. Ty simply found himself at the farthest point from the clubhouse when the urge struck.

I kept waiting for something to pop-up, but nothing ever did…then I realized Washington doesn’t have an offense.

Does anyone else find it slightly jarring that Graham Watson is a middle-aged black woman?

Compared to What Hell Of An Offensive Abortion Hath Woody Wrought in Starksville, we’re downright jealous of Ty’s offense.

To say I’m giddy at the thought of curb-stomping the huskies this weekend would be an understatement.

Don’t worry, UW fans, Jim Mora Jr will be sliding into the head coaching spot shortly after we leave town.

Yoyo: Haven’t you heard? Coach Croom will be unleashing a secret offensive weapon this weekend. In game 8. Against Middle Tennessee State.

I thought Mora was the replacement for Mike Holmgren with the Seahawks. Did that change?

@9

indeed, things did change.

Willingham: “C’mon, this way.”
Ellie: "I can see the shed from here! We can make it if we run!
Willingham: “No we can’t.”
Ellie: “Why not?”
Willingham: “Because we are being hunted…from the bushes straight ahead. Its alright, run, towards the shed, I’ve got her. Go!
Ty raises his gun and sees her…”Clever girl."
End scene. Goodbye Ty

I believe Ty is checking his lie there on the green while wondering how his recruiting is doing.

Re: Mora. Could someone close to the situation enlighten us? Google shows no news of an impending abjuration of the previous agreement…

Mora is still going to coach the Seahawks next year. We (many Washington fans) are hopeful that UW will make a run at him, but for now he’s still the Seahawks coach in waiting.

@13

Mora will be offered the job….who knows if he takes it. UW will probably offer 2.5-3 mil a year to the new coach. Mora has said UW is his “dream job”, but he will be getting paid more to coach the Seahawks.

It’s all speculation. The boosters and fans want Mora. BAD. They wanted him last year. I’d say he’s going to stay in the NFL, but stranger things have happened.

Other hot names for the job include Jeff Tedford and Brian Kelly

What? Competent play calling? George Sherman could do a better job directing the offense.

Watching the AUbarn game on TeeVee was bad enough. But, sitting through the fiasco in Knoxvega$ last Sattiday with the girlfriend (UT grad) was even worse.
