I’m incredulous. You know, once I figure that fundamentalism can’t surprise me any longer, something like this pops up.

Although, I’m figuring that if you have a daughter who wants to play football, it might not be such a hot idea to send her to a school called “New Creation Center.” In a sense, you’re just asking for this sort of insanity.

I write for a little weekly paper in west Michigan and I was kinda surprised recently to see from the photo of homecoming king and queen from a little town around here that they both played football. It was taken at halftime of the homecoming game, as is customary, and they were both in uniform.

The info in that link was a little hosed. It wasn’t the Georgia High School Association that said she couldn’t play. It was the rinky-dink sports association of Krischen Academies for Kids Whose Parents Are Too Sorry To Home School. It’s even more rinky-dink than the Georgia Independent School Association, which is made up of seg academies founded so that white chirren could play ball without sitting on the bench all year.
