Did you reach out to him for the interview or vice versa? I figure people like Phil Steele were approahed by EDSBS (natch), but how on earch did this paring happen?
No dis-respect to Rob, but there are hundreds of good CFB players to talk with. You cant call them all.

His blog is terrific. I was rooting for UConn against UNC on the strength of his blog alone. (Of course I was rooting for UNC against ND, because, well, if your team can’t win, at least the Domers can lose.)
