Apparently I’ll be watching 8-year-old bobblehead-type football in suburban Seattle (ex-girlfriend’s nephew). I came 2000 miles for that. No, I don’t know why. Probably because I’m a pussy. Those kids running around and bumping into each and falling down better be entertaining, ‘cause I won’t be drinking (ex’s family are Mormons).

Red River thing at home in sweet sweet air conditioning. Outdoors drinking alcohol after that. And LSU – UF from the student section. You cannot have a fuller day, and that includes only two actual football games.

In Athens, grilling fajitas during the Texas – OU(sucks) game, then ’tween the hedges, then LSU @ UF at the after-game tailgate.

Word.

i’ll be at the Auburn/Arkansas game praying for some kind of victory for my Tigers after one of the worst/weirdest/dumbest weeks in recent history.

I’m flying into Gainesville and sitting 40 yard line, 12th row.

Driving to Chicago for the NW-MSU game. Likely to catch OU-Texas and Illinois-Minnesota until game time, then PSU-Wisconsin after.

Golf in beautiful pastural North Fulton county in early am. Home to catch Red River shoootout, then tOSU-Purdue at 3:30 along with channel surfing other games during commercials to see them all. Followed by PSU-Wisconsin to scout for next week.

Will be secretly pulling for the Gators to beat Miles….Urban has not lost 2 in a row at home…he is not programmed that way….
will be pulling for Tubbs to fall to Petrino to complete the collapse of the Ugliest Trailer on the Plains…..

I watched the FAU-Troy on Tuesday, the Clemson-WF (Go Deacs!) on Thursday, and I’m watching now the Louisville-Memphis…That was a greeting of a big college fan from little Hungary :)

8 AM lifting and running session, then breakfast, then back home for a shower and setting up the triple-TV in the living room.

Noon games- Red River Shootout with the sound, Minnesota-Illinois and Toledo-UM muted.

330 games: OSU-Purdue with audio, ND-UNC, and Northwestern-MSU without

Night games: MSU-Wisconsin, OkSU-Mizzou, and LSU-UF…sound will rotate based on what’s happening.

Being in Pittsburgh, here are my options at noon:

will be at stupid work during Tx-Ok as it is like at 9am out here on the west coast but will be home in time to watch GA-Tenn and then some Fla-LSU….and whatever other game looks interesting…vodka and meatballs on the menu!

Red River Gunplay (Texas @ OU) – Hoping to see how the City of Dallas spent my tax dollars (or rather, how poorly).

LSU @ Florida – I SO wanted to be there in person. Between myself and Seven Years in Gainesville, Orson’s liver may have been in serious trouble.

SC – ASU is only on gameplan / 360 hereabouts, so I’ll catch up on that while keeping an eye on LSU – Florida. Too much going on in the middle of the day to do anything other than bemoan Scotland losing to Norway – it is written.

Oh, and for what it’s worth, I’ll be in Anaheim because the Tennessee Alumni Association has rented out the ESPN Zone bar for the Georgia game. So if you hear of a mass orange cyanide-laced Kool-Aid poisoning tomorrow evening, remember me fondly.

My money’s on you to survive such an event. Your constitution is much stronger than that.

I’m with #14. Caught the second half of Memphis-Louisville last night. Not a bad game. Heck, it was college football (!), which I’d like to remind people consists of an all-too-short 13 week season, plus some mostly-bad bowl games. Soon enough it’ll be Fulmer Cup season again…

Today I got to work, so I’ll probably miss the noon games, and might even miss the mid-afternoon games. Bummer.
