Tim Brewster, Orson. Tim.
Glen is that guy who was the captain for Ohio State last week. He also gets large paychecks to stay far far away from Minnesota football players.

Dadaist Rugby, that’s my vote.
It’s tough being an AU fan this year. You can see the talent on the offensive side of the ball, yet we’re running a system to completely minimize those talents – with great effect. Then the defense is good enough to keep you in the games, so you sit around watching, waiting for something to click, or the backup quarterback to come in (again) and run roughshod until he gets the lead we cannot grab back.
Thank God Byrum clinked the upright. Could you imagine the horror of OT?

gansta was the face of the Vandy qb after the game as he was walking off….

The inappropriateness of the Auburn-Tennessee combo cannot be understated. I think everyone died a little yesterday, even those of us that have no allegiance to any of the schools involved.

Kudos to Chuck Liddell for taking over James Dalton’s job at the Double Deuce and undoubtedly turning it into millions of dollars. Who knew that Americans loved seeing brutish men beat the ever loving shit out of each other with very, very few rules?
Also he had one of the Duh!?!!! moments last night, when in that same exchange he said, referring to Spielman, “he doesn’t want to fight me.” Seriously, only a very few, very few actually want to fight him. And if you checked his BAC, I would wager on… High, bordering shit faced high.

Since I can’t remember my Sporting News login info, I’ll respond to one of their commenters here:
Regardless of competition, I’m not sure how you can really put any team above Missouri at this point.
Are you freaking kidding me?! Missouri is Hawaii with slightly better athletes on offense.

Missouri is Hawaii with slightly better athletes on offense.
And a win over an actual team with a pulse (Illinois), and one over a team that may have at least a real faint pulse (Nebraska). That’s about three more quality wins than Hawaii had last year.

Illinois and Nebraska’s defenses aren’t exactly world beaters.

Berkshire Hathaway taking over GE.
Missouri taking over the Big XII.
Strange times indeed.

@SpartanDan:
Boise State, at any point in the last three years, is better than Illinois. The curse of the [COACH REDACTED] is that you are constantly flirting with being good, but never actually being all that close to getting it.

At least we can all rest easy knowing that Chase Daniel is taking the MU football program to new levels of douchetitude.

Hiphopopotamus clearly still fuming over almost losing to the 11th-best team in the Big XII. But remember: South Florida was a good loss! Nevermind Wannstache!

Mr. Hiphopopotamas,
Douche is what makes the college football economy run. It’s clean, it’s efficient, and it’s ours.

Cincinnati played Chokelahoma MUCH tougher than anyone else.

@OhioDawg
actually, TCU has done the best job against OU so far this year. They were the only team to hold OU under 100 yards rushing and the got occasional pressure on Bradford.
The OU/Cincinnati score is a bit misleading due to a Cincy KO return for a touchdown and a Cincy TD as time expired in the 4th.

Straight blasphemy on Buffett’s part. Devoted husker fan that I believe he is.

What’s the over/under on Terrelle Pryor pulling some sort of RP before the end of the football season? It hasn’t been the same since RP went to Jax State.

In no way should Buffett be confused with a Husker fan. Motherfucker gives tons of money to Creighton but can’t be bothered to give a cent to his alma mater. I’m sure that if we get back to a national championship caliber team, he’ll start hanging out with whoever our QB is, but I don’t think that will have anything to do with his allegiance to the Huskers.
