My nightmare scenario of a USC-Ohio State Rose Bowl is going to happen. Neither will lose a game the rest of the year won’t be able to make it into the championship game. USC will crush Ohio State in the Rose Bowl and you’ll get people saying “USC should have been in the title game.”

USC will still be in the AP and Coaches Top 10.

You just have to be wise/lucky enough to be able to tell when it is giving you good information, and when it is giving you garbage.

Oregon State > USC > Ohio State gives us lots of useful information, I think. (Though less about the Beavers than about the other two, since they are the team in this equation who played the most atypically…gloriously, deliciously so.)

Sorry, I forgot to mention that part of the scenario, which is royally pissing off the Tampa fans, most of whom already irrationally hate the city of Orlando for no reason other than it has more famous theme parks.

Regardless, I’m still trying to figure a way to have comparatively beaten Auburn last year. And UT’s waxing of UGA would have had some positive spin on that Florida loss to the Dawgs. It just doesn’t work. Shit.
