EDSBS LIVE! VOL-ARITY EDITION
We'll discuss the Vol-arity going on with Phil Fulmer in Knoxville, the finer issues of crafting the perfect vehicle to transport Charlie Weis' hobbled ass around in, and the finer points of the weekend with Bruce Feldman tonight on EDSBS Live.
Listen here at 9:00 p.m. EDT. We'll hear you then, if we're not too busy playing our new favorite board game, Croom-opoly.

Shouldn’t you have ladders in this game too? All I see are chutes.

Four TD’s by a true freshman and no mention all day?
The Big Ten Network must not have been available on the Tennessee River. Terrelle Pryor, keeping tOSU fans sane since September 20.

And just when you thought your teams fortunes were bad, you look at Notre Dame and know it could always be worse. Thanks Charlie Weis for lowering the bar to whale shit on the bottom of the ocean depth and giving ND the comeuppance we’ve been waiting for since Joe Kuharich. Great hire Domers! Only 6 more years to go!

Didn’t see it mentioned elsewhere in the blog – but Larry Munson announced his retirement: effective immediately.
Apparently, he discussed it with his family and doctor and decided the central michigan game would be the last he called.
Very sad news. I know you were a Munson fan Swindle, I figured you’d want to hear this news.

That board game is the funniest thing ever invented. Ever. Seriously.

Yes, it’s sad, though Munson hit normal retirement age 21 years ago.
The scary thing for me is that I remember listening to his predecessor, Ed Thilenius.
I have no idea if the current Georgia players understand the significance of this event, but the alums will definitely want them to “win one for Larry” against ’Bama. And a " blackout" is now very appropriate.

I remember when I lived in atlanta, listening to munson calling the end of a close UGA-GT game, where UGA won late. He said, and I (somewhat accurately) qoute “They tore our hearts out and left ’em there bleeding on the ground, and we picked ’em up and shoved ’em back in our chest!”
and that was over 10 years ago. you never find a replacement for a guy that insanely awesome

The funniest thing about that game is that it is absolutely impossible to win; absolutely no set of outcomes leaves a player anywhere other than the ‘Start’ position or Probation.
Absolutely perfect for Bulldog football!

I’m not sure I can cope with a world where the Dores are on TV and Munson isn’t on the radio. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, follow me to freedom, etc etc.

Every time I try to play as “Money Mike” an LSU fan comes along and steals my dice.

Unless you roll a 22. That gets you the Liberty Bowl.

@10 + 13:
I think you’re supposed to roll a single dice, and only follow the instructions after a roll, not after being ‘bumped’.
’course, I could be mistaken, and it would be a very boring game, what with every roll but 22 or 27 leaving you at the beginning. But I suppose boring would be quite in theme with Croomball.

If you play as Croom, you automatically are considered one of the greatest players of this game because of what you look like.

I like controversy…..explain this one:

- It can’t be explained, just like the phantom “false start” call that was called against Florida or the BS “pass interference” call Saturday….or go WAY back to 1996 and the 1st Gator game against FSU where Danny Weurfell was hit late no less than 13 times with no call…. Officials are evil, evil men with hidden agendas….or maybe they are just human and make mistakes. I think the later is case most of the time….

Painfully love the game concept. Unlike many fans of other collitches, we Starksville Ag Skool grads can stand back and appreciate the humor (and truth for that matter).

I’ve been playing this game for 5 years and I can’t get off of start. I think the game needs to be simplified aGAIN! I can’t seem to grasp it. Maybe it’s me. Maybe I need to evaluate me. No. It’s just the players I choose. Never me.

What if you roll a 6, 6, 5, 5, 5?
Doesn’t that get you to a bowl game?

- #23: Maybe if you grab one of those gay D&D 100 siders, but I’m pretty sure those are illegal in Starkville.

3rd square. you have to follow the painful croom progressions sequentially.
but, the probation predated him. shame on you OS, you should penalize your contributor.
BTW OS, go by your employer about every day on mo-head street.
