I agree that it was a terrible call, but I don’t see how it really mattered in the end. The extra point was blocked. That shouldn’t really matter regardless of whether it’s from the 10 or the 25. If your kicker has to adjust that much for a 35 yard kick, you’re already in trouble.
The only argument you could make is that maybe Ty goes for 2 and the win.
