Unless Michael Palin is in “French Kiss” then that is very much a scene from a Fish Called Wanda. Speaking of Palin, I was dreadfully disappointed when I found out Michael Palin wasn’t the Palin that McCain chose as a running mate.

#6,
I thought the exact same thing.
Really, just the fact that she shares a surname with my favorite comic actor/writer/travel documentarian is enough secure my imaginary vote.

@Kecalf – you are still voting for a more valid reason than most people in this country.

@ 7 Imaginary votes are quite common in Chicago and we should anticipate that Barry will receive many such.

Um #6 – check out comment #4 –
The original photo was of an older Kevin Kline sitting on an airplane next to an out of shot Meg Ryan, sporting, I might add, a much more masculine mustache.
And you’re right, neither Michael nor Sarah Palin was in “French Kiss” -

Michael and Sarah Palin both have the same qualifications to be VP. What the hell. Draft him for the ticket.

I think you need the clip from ESPN where the MLB ump ejected half the team as an honorable mention for mustache wed

@12 You need qualifications to be VP? Somebody should have told that to Al Gore and Dan Quayle.
BTW, I like the K-k-k-k-k-Ken tag for this post. Can’t wait to see what else gets tagged with that.

Marcillac @ 9 – Just because the Chicago machine automated their voter shenanigans, instead of the old fashioned ballot box stuffing that they stuck with downstate, there’s no need to get snarky.
Nowadays I’d put more faith in the accuracy of an EDSBS poll about his Coachness Rick Golden Neuheisel than I would in the output of the average electronic voting machine.

I learned a lot from A Fish Called Wanda. For instance, apes don’t read philosophy, British lawyas wear goofy wigs and steamrolling someone is a great method of murder.

Trojan,
The overwhlmingly blue nature of Illinois makes the actual count irrelevant anyway. The fraud is very much reflexive rather than consequential. Its just that at this point they coudn’t put on an honest election if they tried.

I have it on good authority that Quayle can’t sing, either, but he plays a great game of golf. So, basically he is useless. Perfect qualification for a VP.

Imaginary votes in Chicago? Back in New Orleans they just let the dead vote. And often.
I would’ve liked to have seen how many people who died during Katrina that voted in the following mayoral election where Ray Nagin got re-elected.
