Appartently, Reed also played his own music as well as sang. For instance, I think that his him playing banjo in “East Bound and Down”. So in sum, he was more talented that 99.9% of the musicians we have today.

“Smokey and the Bandit” was good, but its no “Rent”.

I’d say it’s closer to under 40. Smokey and the Bandit was probably the first movie I saw without my parents at the theee-a-ter.
