So the Dennis Dome and the state of ASU’s OL are now parallel. Both, however, are in far superior condition to that of Mr. Carpenter after they field cart the poor lad evening-time 9/20.

If you replaced “Practice Facility” with “Hottest Co-ed” in your headline, do you have any idea what your hit count for today would be?

I know there’s that pesky no politics rule, but John McCain has gotten in touch with his inner Les Miles. Pure balls.

- Women won’t necessarily vote for a candidate just because he puts a woman on the ticket.
Why would someone cover a building in canvas? I’m not an engineer, but common sense would tell you that bad weather might cause “issues” with your dome.

@Blon – Wait, wait, wait!
We are letting you all vote now?

Instead of canvas, ASU should’ve used a Les Miles hat.

Blon @ 5.
Rather than a move to sway female voters, I’m more inclined to suggest its a move to re-capture ground within the Pacific Northwest and Mountain states where Senator Obama had been gaining momentum.

it would be kinda kewl if McCain picked Erin Andrews for a running mate
but I cannot for the life of me imagine why this blog would have the slightest reason to mention this bs here
unless maybe McCain has a year of eligibility left… hell of a LB I bet

- Yes, it was thoughtful of you boys to allow us to vote.
- Those pesky fly-over states really cause problems, don’t they? Much like the question of how many houses do you own and what kind of car do you drive.
Sorry, I just had to throw that in.

That dome has been up for about three months and allegedly cost $8.4 million to build.
Dope!

Dammit — this is a college football blog! Politics have no place here, save for discussions on head coaches running for political office (see: Tom Osborne) or silly, silly people camping in trees because they are stupid assholes who clearly don’t care that a decent practice facility would help our D-I and intramural athletics (see: Dumpster Muffin).

This is my kind of practice facility.
Wait, what?

Unless you build a dome with a canvas top.

Here’s a link to a good photobucket page of this morning’s damage. Most old timers are saying this is the worst storm they’ve ever seen in the Phoenix area.

The dome was designed to withstand heat, not lightning and flying trees. It’s not like they built it in New Orleans.

Big Jon, monsoons are not news in Arizona… the last time I was out in Tuscon, one of the guys I was meeting with had a large tree uprooted and flipped completely upside down in his front yard… they should have been able to see this coming.
