Prince also promised Freeman he could start as a freshman, and that he would be his No. 1, no-questions-asked-or-bones-about-it star and leader of the team to get him to de-commit from Nebraska. This talk of him being a No. 1 draft pick must be more of Prince’s “blow smoke up his ass to deceive and motivate him” school of coaching.

Not to be too serious,but considering the relative weakness of the QB class, the infatuation with the QB, and recent history (Alex Smith), JaMarcus 2.0 could definitely weasel his way into a top 10 pick this year. Of course, it’ll probably work out about as well as Big Ten team in the NC, but hey, who’s splittin hairs!

Laugh now, but Arthur Blank will almost certainly draft Freeman after the Falcons upcoming 3-13 campaign. Because Matt Ryan is either going to be dead or dancing the rumba with a room full of concussion fairies by week 10.
