COUNTDOWN: 8

“The little flickering part of his brain that was still sparking coherent thought through the fog of mind-numbing terror that filled Colon’s head was telling him that he was so far out of his depth that the fish had lights on their noses.”

I’ll second that…effort, plus the fact that 50% of the plays that JPW had even the slightest hand in turned into shit-sandwiches last year

let’s all hope those hands stay fresh to the end of the season… because beating a team with a star like that on it is Auburn’s specialty

Julio would have made that catch in the Auburn game.
I hope he lives up to the “Lebron James type talent” who could go from High School to the pros. We shall see. Looks good so far. Saban ordered that video to come down, dont know why.

Can the 2009 countdown be 100 percent Pratchett? I’m thinking we can bring back Tom Zbiboxerguy for the following gem:

Point of information: 2012 will be the 40th anniversary of the famous “Punt, Bama, Punt” game of 1972. If Tommy Tuberville keeps the streak going, it will also be the eleventh straight Iron Bowl victory for the Tigers, eclipsing the 10-year stretch over Auburn by Bear Bryant.

So you’re the second state trooper from the left, and one of the perks of ‘protecting’ a major college coach is that you have a front-row seat to watch this pivotal play… maybe 12 yards away.
Why are you watching it on the big screen?!?!

Poor choice of pictures Holly. If you wanted your desired result, why didn’t you go to your staple pic of the barn hicks wanting $5 to shake dead Bear’s hand? You must be saving that one for a future posting.
An NFL coordinator said DJ Hall wouldn’t go over the middle of the field even if a $1,000 bill was there with his name on it. Unbelievable talent with no heart. Imagine if he actually tried.
Pelican – JJ’s going to be good, real good. But let’s remember who’s throwing him the ball.

weagle251 says:
I’ll concede JPW, but Croyle was super-hyped before and after he was recruited. I seem to remember a rumor that John Croyle was consulted for both the Price and Shula hires because he wanted a system that would fit in with his son. Then, all we heard for his so. and jr. years was that the Tide wouldn’t have lost to Auburn if they’d had Brodie. We saw how well that worked out. Even after that, he was treated like a rock star within the state. He has to stay on the list with Watts.

Logical question, that was 1 play. Why is the video 2 minutes long? Were there not other plays to be added? and if not why is the video not say 20 seconds long, tops.
