Apologies: WordPress ate this morning's CI. Enjoy Kirk Herbstreit getting annihilated by Michigan on the kind of play at in 1990 was considered "a fair hit at the whistle," and would now be considered "first-degree felony assault.

Ouch. At least we know he survived.
Now he gets to annoy us every Saturday on ESPN.

Apologies: WordPress ate this mornings CI.
Is that the modern day blogger version of “My dog ate my homework?”

Kirk Herbstreit threw three interceptions in the Citrus bowl and lost the final game of his college career to Georgia.
His stats from the final game should be made into a prominent poster for any and all College Gameday broadcasts of UGA.

Well losing by four TD’s to Michigan explains why I really didn’t hear Herbstreits name too much until ESPN. They certainly didn’t want him in the NFL.

When did Mickey Andrews coach Michigan? Did he take a sabbatical for the year or did he just moonlight for the one game?

1. Michigan actually beat OSU ? Weird.
2. I didn’t know Ellen Degeneres had that much of a pocket presense. She might have wanted to use some of those sick dance moves on that play.

Fond memories of John Cooper exist in Ann Arbor.

we loves its…
also, for the record, it was 1991 (complete w/ “hello heisman”), not ’90 (which was UM 16 – OSU 13 at the shoe)

Totally looked like a clean hit to me.
How about ND co-DC Corwin “Cornflakes” Brown snagging the negated pick as well.

I think that was called the “Splash” off the top rope, the ref didnt see it so it was legal. When someone tells you to stay down, stay down, or get a 300lb belly flop.

And to this day, there remains a Kirk Herbstreit-shaped dent in the turf at Michigan stadium.

wish they’d have finished his ass off right there. never has there been a more biased “analyst” in media… f*#k you herbstreit…queer.
I put the over/under at 52 for the number of times he verbally felates tim tebow during gameday broadcasts for the season. he really looks up to him, while going down – while i’m at it, 6 for the number times he actually felates him.

@15
He is biased to tOSU? To Tim Tebow? To both? That makes sense. Kirk > Jesse Palmer…sort of smartest retard scenario but still.
