Ah, “www.boingboing.net”. The greatest gathering of pseudo, self-proclaimed intellectuals on the internet.
One time I was arguing that an animal disease testing facility in Kansas is not a bad idea. Lots of test subjects in the general area, sparseness of carriers (not alot of wildlife), and that the leading livestock animal researchers are at universities like Iowa State, Kansas State, Nebraska. Not too much interest to study cows at Harvard.
Alas, I was shouted down in lieu of the belief that this was another attempt by the Bush Administration to punish the blue states. Just proves that liberals really are just as stupid as conservatives.
