“That’s the whole trouble. You can’t ever find a place that’s nice and peaceful, because there isn’t any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you’re not looking, somebody’ll sneak up and write “Fuck you” right under your nose.”

Catcher In The Rye…one of the greatest books ever written about modern life and disconnectedness. Also the favorite book of three infamous assassins. Go figure.

The pictures immediately after this one would be fine, the injury in the ASU game didn’t appear that bad – it was the Arizona game where it got nasty.

CrabappleBuck…but fall training starts! At least the media will be filled with football related news. Texas fans can get an early start bitching and whining about the quarterback. (Quarterback complaints are a staple in Austin. The few years Vince Young was here, Orangebloods didn’t have anything to complain about. It wasn’t normal. We’re back in business!)
These people couldn’t wait. But it is UNC and Duke so maybe they are in withdrawal from basketball?

Boobie Miles is a good comparison. Except there was nobody there to step up and take Dixon’s spot.
And when Boobie Miles tried to come back, he didn’t go 50 yards to the endzone on 4th and 2 on a knee with no ACL.
Dixon was the man.

We don’t get many chances, and that one was stolen from us.
