[unseemly snickering]

In keeping with the “what historical nation do you most represent” theme from the guest lecturer series and the war quote, I would say Oklahoma is France. Winning battles along the way, but always surrendering and getting their asses handed to them when it matters.

[sits in office chair]… [pulls knees up to chin]… [hugs knees, rocks back and forth]… [cries]… [doesn’t give a shit what his co-workers think]…

That USC-OU game was one of the few times that reality far exceeded my dreams.

I must admit that I am still a little curious why Bob Stoops craps his pants every time he coaches in a bowl game.

If you were going with Sherman, that bastard SOB may we all spit on his name, I thought you would wait for another pic and go with : “I can make this march, and I will make Georgia howl!”

@ #2 and #5:

No snickering can be completed without at least a passing reference to the following comments:

1. OU = Surrender Monkeys
2. This ain’t Baylor, cretins
3. Shit, at least Auburn played some decent competition…Get Tubs on the phone*
4. Calling Mssrs Bush and Leinart: 2006 Heisman campaign anyone?
5. I don’t know who taught you how to return a ball, but we will gladly accept both their largesse and ineptitude
6.WTF was Jason Leach doing on the field when Robin Leach would have been just as serviceable
7. Damn, Bob, that’s a whoooooole lotta’ ass-kickin’ you’ve got left to get through.

*And, yes, that hurts to say…a whole fucking lot…But anything that keeps the Barners remniscent over ’57 turns out for the good.

Yeah, and AU didn’t deserve to be in that game……..

Actually, it’s for the better. We can bitch and moan about not getting into the game instead of us actually getting in and getting our tails whipped. Works out for the best in the end.

@15

Yes, you likely would have lost. BUT, I can say this (as an SEC homer and a begrudging admirer of Tubs…that fuck), it assuredly WOULD NOT have ended in a 36 point slaughter where the Men of Condom could have named their score.

/needs calculator to subtract 19 from 55

I’d like to just say that I’m a huge supporter of the romanticism being displayed in this countdown. Bravo, Orson…keep the quotes comin’.
