From a woman’s perspective.

My wife and I watched the College World Series. Her first love has always been baseball. She actually understands the “infield fly rule”. Milo Hamilton, Ernie Johnson, Pete Van Wieren and Skip Carey were her commentators emeritus.

Then she was exposed to Erin. First time.

“What is this crazy woman doing running around like a chicken with her head cut off, wearing taffeta and pantaloons, sitting in a cleat pock-marked, spit infested, sunflower seed encrusted dugout”. “Those guys are scared to death of her or they are ignoring her”. “You are talking to 18-20 year old kids having a microphone shoved in their face and a clownish dressed “get a scoop” ESPN reporter “acting desperate”.

I had to agree, even though my perception had more of a carnal tilt.

Erin, chill with the fashion nonsense. We get it, evidently you don’t . Show us your insight, knowledge and passion, not 5th Avenue couture.

Talk, listen, interpret and expound.

Shoving microphones in faces is crude, base and amateurish.
