ND must have let Ohio St. set the schedule for 2008. It worked to get them (OSU) into the dance the last two years. Ah, it does have a way of kicking you in the ass though…..

ND will turn the corner this year, yeah the schedule is questionable but a winning record is a winning record. All they have to do this year is play hard win most of there games the recruiting will pick in 2009 setting up a serious run for year 4 years. I predict Urban Liar will get canned before Charlie does and I too will shave my dog if i’m wrong. Go Irish!

#23 You are not kidding about that schedule. With Michigan a big question mark due to the Rich Rod transition, there might end up being no good teams played before the last game at USC. There are some teams with the potential to rise up this year (Pitt, NC, MSU) but overall that schedule is pathetic.

I can see the domers having a mediocre team that rips off a winning streak before getting crushed by USC and by a bowl opponent. Pretty much like the year before last when Charlie was still a “genius”.

Worst case scenario is that SDSU pulls of an “Appalachian State” style upset and things get really ugly from there.

ND’s schedule sets up a small megaton easier than last seasons.

I bet ND puts up over 40 points 4+ times this season, starting with Game 1 against SDSU.

Heck, even in last seasons 3-9 debacle, with a virtually last place offense, CW’s offense managed to score over 40 points at least once during the season. (They still lost, but that’s a different monologue).

Way to judge a true freshman who had elbow surgery during the summer. I’m sure his career will not progress at all. After all, if a kid doesn’t dominate as a freshman he’s a bust.
