jakldawg … holy shit. Two teams in the top five that don’t belong in the top 25 (Michigan and Notre Dame), a team that gave up 5.5 more points per game than any BCS team not named Minnesota or Duke in the top 15 (Nebraska), and speaking of Minnesota – a team that went 1-11 (and that win in OT against a MAC team) and came within a single yard of Worst Defense Ever, and naturally they’re in the top 20.

There is one word to describe that poll, and it begins with a “b” and ends with “atshit”.

nope – i applied to both texas and michigan just to be accepted and then turn them down – such is the nature of my fandom – of course, i wouldn’t have done that if it was my money being spent on those application fees, but hell, dad hates texas and michigan too, so i doubt he minded

I don’t doubt that W couldn’t get into ut law – daddy’s an aggie and a yalie, so he’s got no whorn pull

don’t do criminal defense – do a lot of oil and gas, which means i do get an occasional trip to your beautiful panhandle region

you seem like a good sport blon – maybe one day our paths will cross in dallas and we can yell at each other and you can throw a drink in my face – in the meantime, you should check out my comment to the edsbs entry from yesterday, wherein i compare texas to a bordeaux, an apt comparison if there ever was one

Sorry to disappoint you, Okiedomer, but I moved from mommy’s money to my own, thank you. You see, a degree from one of the top state universities in the U.S. will do great things for your bottom line.

A lawyer? Criminal defense? At least you could defend OU players when they’re arrested. Your alma mater thanks you.

By the way, our current president couldn’t get into UT law. The dean at the time told him to go get his MBA. True story.

Bo was an assistant for Hayes, Dooley played at Auburn, Dye was an assistant for Bryant. According to book “Natural Enemies” by John Kryk, Lloyd Carr could have been the head coach at Notre Dame. But the best one is that Dana X. Bible coached at both A&M and Texas. So you see Okiedomer what Royal did is not unique.

Actually, sending painters to spy on UT is a stroke of genius. If your not painting, your not trying.

side note: I actually like Obama, but his supporters are the biggest crackpots alive. Sure, attack McCain’s policies, but to attack him personally with his war record and to claim he is nothing more than “W Part II” after his prez campain 8 years ago is frickin beyond reason. And to lil’ Jay, to actually question anybody as a “son of privilege” is the result from bad sperm caused from too much hair dye.

You failed to mention that the “1″ in a 1-6-4 defense is Terrance Cody, the 6′5″ 400lbs nose tackle.
