I”m sure that the scenery in Oxford lives up to the billing, but let me tell you that the “Genitles” song was certainly NSFW when you have to walk across a campus in SoCal on a beautiful warm early june day and you have that song stuck in your head.

Kevin White will do for Duke football what he’’s done for the Golden Dome. How does Duke steal a guy away from a traditional powerhouse like Notre Dame? What a coup for Duke plucking this guy off the Notre Dame tree. Now that they have White in just a few years Duke’s schedule is going to start getting tougher and tougher. This is probably due to White’s great prestige. My guess is it will get progressively more difficult to find wins on the Duke schedule in the years to come.

I got in on the Zaxby’s franchising in NC too late.

Some enterprising Texan should get in on the Zaxby’s franchising, open up 5 or so and prepare to reap the windfall.

I am not saying they run themselves, probably harder to run than a Chic-Fil-A given that CFA basically has 3 menu items, but doesn’t appear to be too hard given that corporate gives you a formula that does not fail.

while in college I had a box of checks stolen out of my mailbox. It took me a couple days to notice and report them stolen to the bank, but the thief had already used 3 of the checks- for a total of about $12. Checks were written to the Checkers, Spectrum, and CVS.
from the looks of the amounts it appears the crook wanted a burger & fries, a 6-pack, and some condoms.

Trojan Wire has a story up reveling in the scandal at UCLA, where they’ve apparently been giving organ transplants to Yakuza gangsters and getting big cash donations in return.

zaxby’s is highly, HIGHLY underrated. they have started to creep into the dallas market, but it is waaaaay to damn far away. they should really expand into dallas proper. (writing this in case any zaxby’s executives read edsbs)
