I must say it’s nice to see a Gator give a nod to one of the good guys in orange. I mean, i think Percy Harvin is a badass but I’d never say it publicly. Oh wait…

I see no instantiations of the static variable ‘nod’ being called here.

I am kind of suprised to see any postings today at all. I figured O was in mourning for our loss of Harvey Korman. The world is decidedly less funny today than yesterday…. RIP
That’s Hedley!!!!

I’m glad this is a picture and not a video, because with video comes sound, and you know what GD sound was playing after that catch…. (contemplates HR’s response for launching monitor into the wall)

Hey Orson, How about some ASU cheerleader bunda? Perhaps a collection of college cheerleaders in pictures they were dumb enough to post on their facebook accounts.

Ah, the sight of Chikins losing. Sweetness is thy name.

#2, i think Orson is actually on record as being a Berry fan, pain him as it may. Dare I go so far as suggest a rival man-crush?
by Vol on May 30, 2008 10:36 AM EDT reply actions
Of course Orson has a man crush on Berry, imagine if he were a gator last year.

Berry reminds me of another highly touted Georgia high school player who left the state to play for the Vols, in recruiting circumstances only, Jamal Lewis.
Good call by Donnan and staff preferring Jasper Sanks over Lewis.
I get that Berry’s dad played for UT, or there was some connection I forget about, but Georgia might be unstoppable with Berry in red and black.

UT has historically recruited very well in Georgia. But I thought UGA was already unstoppable this year? Aren’t y’ll just mailing it in for the BCS title this go round, and the games are mere formalities?
by Vol on May 30, 2008 11:05 AM EDT reply actions
If UGA had Notre Dame’s Schedule this year Georgia fans would be mailing it in. I don’t think any fan who has looked at the Bataan Death March believes we’ll just waltz in.

Oh Crane, there’s no need for humility. Everyone knows that no one has a chance against the Dawgs…especially the Vols who have already been doomed to a #3 finish in the east, at best.

Vol, it’s not false humility it’s probably more along the lines of humility fed by years of Munson telling me how small our guys are. I’m scared of everygame but honestly the one game I’m pretty certain we will win will be Tennessee this year.
UGA has a weekoff before and a little motivation from the year before and hell the year before that.

Tennessee stopped recruiting well in Georgia, for most intents and purposes, when Rodney Garner switched sides and then Mark Richt put a fence around the state.
Sure, we might steal a James Davis or Eric Fields, Auburn might get a couple of kids Georgia wants around the Columbus area, Florida might cherrypick an Omar Hunter when the numbers aren’t in Georgia’s favor or a Cameron Newton who would never get on the field at QB for UGa, but…
when Georgia really wants an instate kid and the numbers work out, they are much more likely to sign him than not.

Crane, you may be right. I will only say that I believe UT is being a bit underestimated this year. Am I biased? Hell yes, I am.
by Vol on May 30, 2008 11:37 AM EDT reply actions
Coop, how do ya reckon Eric Berry got over Richt’s fence?

only douchey bloggers do countdowns. mgo said it so its gotta be true.

While generally fencing off the state, Richt and Co will pull in a Stafford from Texas, a Moreno from New Jersey or a, dare I say it???, a Murray from Florida?
One could argue that UGA recruits better nationally than teams that have to in order to compete. (Looking at you Phil).

I have it on good authority that Berry connected with the Tennessee staff over a mutual admiration for Krispy Kremes.
by UgasTexan on May 30, 2008 12:04 PM EDT reply actions
Well good lord, who doesn’t love a Krisy Kreme? I mean honestly??
by Vol on May 30, 2008 12:33 PM EDT reply actions
I meant Krispy. Apparently, I’m incapable of typing a comment here without at least one typo.
