THAT'S WHY HE WENT TO JUNIOR COLLEGE
The immortal Irons Brothers of Auburn, proving that math at Auburn is challenging indeed:
"90 plus 30 doesn't add up."
"For real?"

In all fairness, math is a lot, lot harder when you don’t have a midget in a suitcase on you to slip you the answers. That’s precisely why I tanked my Chemical Engineering exam today.

Other than “90 + 30 = doesn’t add up”
I did not understand one portion of that.

#2, #3 – I did as well first, but follow these easy steps to understand the video:
Step 1 – Mix Hennessy, Hypnotiq (or failing that, anything that will strip the paint off of a truck).
Step 2 – Drink.
Step 3 – Watch Video.
Repeat steps 1-3 until the desired effect is reached.

All I got out of that was “Junior College”. I take it they were not English Majors?

what degrees? if so, in what – phys ed? community studies?

Auburn fans, you can at least take solace in the fact that Alabama had no one drafted over the weekend while you had 5 guys taken.
What in the world was Mike Shula doing down there to cause this to happen? Even Northwest Missouri State had someone drafted this year.

I am pretty sure they both have degrees in sociology (or something similar). As an Auburn fan, I can honestly say I miss these guys. They were always good for some laughs. Laughs and touchdowns.

10: Castille and Hall are NFL talent with discipline problems. Seems Saban didn’t develop them to full potential. I bet there are a bunch of recent recruits wondering how some ALL-SEC players under Saban didn’t get drafted…

@12
It doesn’t seem to be affecting them considering Saban’s about to get the best QB in the state

@13-
oooh- best QB in the state?!?!!?! So he is, at BEST, one of the top 50 QBs in the country (not likely, but best case scenario). i wouldn’t lead with that…

NAZT,
You can look at it both ways. Seeing as how they didn’t get drafted, one can say that Saban did “coach ’em up” to have them named All-SEC.
And Castille was All-SEC in name only. Kareem Jackson was by far BAMA’s best corner. Simeon’s going to have to make a move to safety to have a shot in the NFL. I think Gilberry and Caddell have good shots at sticking. DJ Hall has attitude issues, but I’m glad they all chose to play at BAMA, nonetheless.

a video of two former auburn players who can neither form an understandable sentence or do simple math, and somehow nick saban gets villified. and people call bama fans obsessive.

when the guy said 90+30 doesn’t add up, he means it doesn’t add up to 100 as in 100% of a vote. as in if i get 90% of the vote it’s not possible for you get 30% of the vote. get it? not really that difficult for someone without an agenda.

Yes, but can your six year old run a 4.35 like David Irons? Does he have a midget in a suit case? I didn’t think so.
by karlhungus12 on Apr 28, 2008 6:17 PM EDT reply actions
No my six year old cant run a 4.35, but we will see how good that does him in the future when his dumb ass is BROKE! Every broker/conman in the world is smacking their chops & sharpening their funny math skills to get their hands on his money…

Well, we do have like 30 QB’s, so I can understand a lack of interest by us.
Wasn’t Brodie Croyle a former “top QB in the state?”
JPW too?

I hate using recruiting to talk shit but you’re fooling yourself if you think AU doesn’t want the kid. That being said, I don’t have a clue where he’s going to end up.

Bama is killing Auburn in recruting. We have the # 1 QB in the state and Saban has done nothing but recrut the top playas in the state sincehe arrived. auburn has fallen off sharply and they will be lucky to beat Ole Miss now that Orgeron is gone. If Barner fans think their cow college morons can compete with world class football coaches like Saban then they are dumber than the pig shit they shovel.
Even with the most unfare NCAA sanctions in history aubies had to git luckie to beet bama most of the time.

I mainly talking about his lack of interest in us, should that be the case. However, when your probable QB starter is a Soph and you also have 2 (prob RS) freshmen QB’s, you probably aren’t looking for them as actively (desperately?) as if you’re in Alabama’s QB situation.
by MiseanAUFan on Apr 28, 2008 8:26 PM EDT reply actions
My bad, I did said “by us,” but I did really mean it more from the perspective of him looking at us. My point was we have many QB’s and none are SR’s and most are Fr or Soph’s- it discourages potential QB recruits from looking at us, as well as giving us less incentive to seek QB’s, especially when it’s like, I don’t know, 275 days before signing day.

Someone with 5 simple spelling errors in one paragraph has no right calling someone dumb.

Not very often you see an EDSBS thread turn into a juvenile pissing match without the slightest sense of wit or humility within.
Was this entry directly linked to on the Scout boards or something?

God damn people, lighten up. Yeah, both of these guys are morons. So what. I knew a lot of morons that got into college without an athletic scholarship. There are morons as we speak on the campus of both Auburn and Alabama. What the fuck does that prove? You’re just pissed because these morons are going to be making roughly 100X what you (or me) will ever make and it sucks ass because I’m way smarter and have to sit in a fucking cube all damn day just because I’m a slow, fat white guy. Life’s not fair. Get over it.

poguemahone,
I sent this to Orson because it is the off-season. I knew that he would get it and say to himself, “Hmmm, my day is planned out…post a youtube video that will cause a violent reaction from the state of Alabama…and get back to that purple drank..”

He’s announcing Saturday. Most think he’s picking BAMA, and seeing that he’s announcing at Wing’s, which is owned by a former BAMA player, I’d say they are right.

What I find funny is the indulgent pleasure Bama fans get out of their self-titled ‘recruiting victories.’ I guess they need something to cheer about. For the rest of the SEC, the fans usually wait until their team wins on the field over someone besides their own scout team.
Good luck in 2008. With luck, you might even break .500 again, but only because of the likes of Tulane, Arkansas State and Western Kentucky. At least you don’t have to play that rolling ball of butter knives; La Monroe.
Be prepared to hate the number 7.
