That’s actually Charles Deas, a recruit who first signed with LSU while wearing the fly purple suit, but who couldn’t enroll because of grades. The next year he signed with Auburn, thus explaining the beckoning Tuberville. Sadly, I don’t think Deas made the eligibility requirements after signing with Auburn either, depriving the SEC of what could have been one of its greatest pimps since Y.A. Tittle.
