MUSTACHE WEDNESDAY: LIONEL RICHIE
We had a dream: we had an awesome dream. It involved Ryan Perriloux flipping out in a restaurant. Getting details, but in the meantime, why don’t we take a minute on life’s lonesome highway and find a friend or two? And by friend, we mean: a quality mustache like Lionel Richie’s.
Happy Mustache Wednesday, motherfuckers!

Karamu, fiesta, forever!

I remember hearing from somewhere that Nicole Richie was adopted, which explains her lack of a rockin ‘fro.

Saw Lionel at The Fox last Spring and it was the best concert I have ever been to. His best line, “I’ve been all around the world. In It-lee they call me Leonelle, and in Paris they call me Leon. And in Japan they call me Lionel Richieson…but I know when I’m home when the fine sista in the front row is screamin’ ‘Sing it Lion-el, Sing it!’.”
He proceeded to sing it. Sail on bitches, Sail on!

Nicole Ritchie is adopted. GQ did a story about Lionel hanging out in Libya or some nation in the Middle East, and the story about how he adopted Nicole was mentioned.
It said he saw her on a stage of some sort, playing the tambourine, found out she had no family or lived in poverty with them or something, and adopted her.
I chalked it up to benevolence, mainly because I did not care enough to further investigate it.
Anyway, who else was forced to hear Lionel Ritchie, ad nauseum, on the carpool after school?
Rhetorical, as we all were.
Soccer moms loved them some Lionel Ritchie music back in the day.

Lionel Richie is one of the greatest performers of all time. And Bottagetta, he used a similar line at Jazzfest 06.
