EDSBS LIVE: THE RETURN FROM THE DEAD EDITION

That? That's a random photo. Tonight? Tonight marks the return of EDSBS Live at 9:00 p.m., our new swanky late night hour designed to be more inclusive of our West Coast/Central Time Zone brethren, and also to ensure you'll be good and cranked by the time you get to the show.
No plans, no agendas, no special guests. In other words, pretty much what you expected. Be there by pressing yon button over on the right sidebar, or popping in at the link via Now Live.

Let me be he first to say “thanks for nothing” for putting Evita in my head for the rest of the day. And not the Madonna version but the Broadway one from the ads around NYC when I was a kid.

let joy be unconfined! let there be dancing in the streets, drinking in the saloons and necking in the parlors.

…while you cater to your Western demographics, what about your neglected listeners in BMT/GMT/CET?
2am is just too late- in the offseason.

This is great news and all, but I’m much more interested in talking about this gentleman in the TogetherChristian ad. Is that Pat Sajak’s brother?
Also, if I were ever on Wheel of Fortune, I would always try to solve the puzzle as “God Bless the USA,” then question the show’s patriotism when they tell me I’m wrong.

I’ll miss having to hide under my desk/outside in the recycling can/in a drainage ditch to listen in!
(Seriously, my billable hours bless and keep you both.)

kleph,
Grouch Marx is a genius. A Night at the Opera certainly has stood the test of time.

I just typed grouch instead of groucho. unacceptable.

Brian @ 15: I’ll be there, and I’m sure I’ll end up telling some random story that will amuse/disgust you. I’m going to start drinking now just to be ready.

In keeping with the nebulous topics for tonight…please define “certified christian” as seen in your ad above… I consider myself to be a person of faith and maintain basic christian ideals, but to be certified…it brings to mind a quality control aspect or an inspection and licensing procedure…akin to the FDA purple stamp on sirloin…or even gun registration (“where you pointin’ that thing, son?”)…oh, and I do know some certifiable christians…but thats another issue…

As perhaps the only EDSBS reader in Argentina — if there are others, let me know — I was shocked by our special designation on the (non-Bunda related) map.
Congrats on the show’s resurrection.

Are any of the folks who participate in the show on a Mac? I have been able to read the chat but as soon as I log in I lose it. I’m trying to figure if it is a Mac issue or something else.

Kleph – Orson will keep his promise, don’t keep your distance.

Should I expect this to start late if the Florida game goes into overtime?
by undecided (formerly Tebow for Heisman) on Apr 1, 2008 5:43 PM EDT reply actions
Fuck. You would do this when I’ve got a cold. All I want to do is crawl in a bottle of Nyquil and scotch and go to bed at 7:30 p.m. And you’re starting late, no less. Fuck those patchouli-stinking West Coast hippies. Let ’em move to a real time zone if they want to participate.

Harris, they live in trees; they can’t just move – they have to root prune and trim the canopy and shit. It takes forever to relocate a tree!

- Joshua. Do you use Safari? Maybe that is my problem though I’ve also tried IE and that didn’t work either.
