I was riding my bike back from work the day before the USC/Nebraska game and he was coming out of the Cornhusker hotel. I almost hit him, but got on my breaks just in time. When I realized who it was, I kind of wished my reaction time wasn't so good. At any rate, he basically just said "watch where you're going, young man," in a perfectly cliched moment of old crotchety-ness, which was kind of priceless, and then marched off with his entourage to do whatever it is tweedy out-of-there-element sports casters do in Lincoln Nebraska the night before a game.
