Nice, I like the strategy. Instead of trying to refute the factual evidence, just make fun of a fan base. The above pretty much legitimizes Bama’s claim at 12 (or, at the worst 8 undefeated, untied bowl winner sqauds – how many other schools can claim that?).
Have you ever thought that maybe Bama fans are tired of everyone else talking shit to them and trying to diminish all of UA’s accomplishments? As annoying as we may be to you, it’s just as annoying on the other side when you’re made fun of for celebrating and enjoying your team’s many accomplishments.
Yeah, we’ve had some bad times lately, but it sure is nice to know that we can point to a fantastic past that only few programs have attained and even fewer will ever eclipse. It’s even better to know that every time the right coach has been in place thus far Bama has enjoyed great success, and it’s looking like we could have the right coach in place again. Why can’t Bama fans enjoy their past and be excited about the future?

Oddly enough he put up those numbers in a year when Georgia was 11-2 and ranked second at the end of the year. So, yeah, a very slight improvement would be enough. Also, 19-10 TD-INT is alright in a run oriented offense.

No need, we still got a NC 15 years ago and I was here for that. Also here for the yearly battles of Florida and Bama in the 90’s until Gene left. Also here for the 1999 SEC championship, and the two 10 win seasons during the worst decade since the 50’s.
Sure it’s been down, but that will make it all the better if Bama reaches the top again. The great thing is, now we have a coach who has done it before and looks to be moving us in that same direction.

Where Florida finished in the standings last year has nothing to do with the fact that it will be 85 degrees and sunny and ESPN is simply hitching a ride with the snowbirds who want to get to Florida as much as everyone else north of the Mason-Dixon line. It’s just a coincidence there is a spring game that weekend and ESPN would be in the area to cover it.
