PRYOR EMBRACES POISONOUS NUT
This year’s supermodel opts for the Buckeyes: Terrelle Pryor chooses tOSU over Michigan and Penn State.

We’re sure everyone will take this in a mature and reasonable fashion on both sides. Pryor said the things he was looking forward to most were the friendships he could make in college, the outstanding community in Columbus, and losing the national title game in two years to an SEC team who blows them out of the building sometime in the middle of the third quarter.

I am sick of tired of hearing about this fuckin SEC bullshit, for once i would like to see them come up north in the middle of winter in the cold and play The Ohio State University and see what will happen because i guarantee they wont want to come away from those heaters on the sideline and take a big hit from the Buckeyes. No wonder they always win against my Buckeyes because they are usually inside to even up the skill level so suck on that shit u fuckin SEC Pussies!

Damn, baby. Because Michigan has one successful QB in the NFL I think it is fair to assume anyone interested in playing QB in the NFL should go to Michigan (if they knew what was good for them). Forget that it is almost 10 years after the fact and there is a new coaching staff. Oh, and that Brady was a fucking scrub at Michigan.

It’s almost too perfect for Ohio State fans - to have a hyped up recruit butcher the NAME of your beloved institution at the very press conference where he commits his love, honor, respect, etc. Especially considering you’re the state school that gets off on everyone getting the formal name of your school right. I nominate the scene to be next fall’s Dr. Pepper commercial, courtesy of the SEC.

Tommy Tuberville says he doesnt know what the big deal is on this Pryor kid. He isnt the type of player that Auburn is looking for and wouldnt fit his type of players
“character mold”
Nick Saban basically said about recruiting between rivals…”This is not ‘Nam. This is football. There are rules. Alot of ins, alot of outs, and alot of what-have-yous.” And Pryor going to TUOtOS is gonna have the NCAA involved in alot of what-have-yous in the future…..

Pryor said university “at” Ohio State… the press actually were the first to start the UofOS misquote. However, Stagecoach was right, he did say DickRod was “giving him lines”…like please come up here and bail me out.

It’s been like 2 hours since we all got a good laugh at the fact Pryor announced he was going to the “University of Ohio State.” The first thing he needs to invest his booster money in is a good publicist to keep him from saying stupid things like playing for a non-existent school or at least keep the AP from printing it as such.
As a poor Gator fan stuck in Ohio that is constantly subjected to their “crap,” I must say his “lack of enough sense to get his school’s name right” display added just the right “zing” against the “UofOS” continued argument that they really are trying to improve academics and admissions requirements.
I am giving him the 1% chance he was trying to throw the crowd with his announcement, but it certainly wasn’t reflected as such in any of the articles I saw that popped up this afternoon. The articles lack any mention of a dramatic pause, so I’m going to continue to go with the “what an idiot” reaction to his selection announcement.
As far as his actual decision - Tressel deserves his talents, OSU fans do NOT. Either choice would have been fine for the rest of the world as it would only really made a difference in the UM/OSU match up, but one reason I saw mentioned he thought he had a better chance of going to the NFL at OSU. Hmm, again bringing his intellect in questions - has he not heard of Tom Brady?!

#22 - Pryor is attending The University of Ohio State. Yes, Pryor values his edumacation as much as Maurice Clarrett. This idiot doesn’t even know the name of the school he’s going to attend! He’s dean’s list material for sure. Gonna make the dean’s list with a Blutarski like effort.
What’s he majoring in? Learneding? I guess when Pryor saw he could pick up a hooker, who’s an undercover cop, get suspended, and then move to second string for a BCS ass whooping, he musta thought, “Yup! Dat bes da spotes for mes, youknowwhatimtalking’bout?”
Nice move Vestuble. You just brought in Maurice Clarrett Jr. Sure he’ll win a few games for ya, maybe even a national championship. But in the end, your buckeye bandwagoners will be memorializing Pryor the same way they do Clarrett. By painting over any likeness of crazy old Maurice/Pryor they can find, and deny he ever played at tosu.

Apparently I am the only one who picked up on TP’s line of:
“…Coach Rodriquez kept giving me lines…”
So, DickRod is handing out cocaine as a recruiting inducement? I gotta work on my 40 time………

To be fair, when I was committing on the phone with the head coach of my DIII school, I completely butchered the name because I was so nervous and I was the only one in the room. It must go without saying that most of you would be unbelievabley sauve and charming with the cameras pointed at you.

Pants, they weren’t going to compete with the big boys with Mallett. That was the point. That, and this “Rodriguez ran him out of town and didn’t want him” thing is complete bullshit, because it’s clear Mallett had no interest in staying at all. I can understand he wanted to move closer to mommy and to a coach that has proven he can coach statue QBs. But Rodriguez didn’t “run him off”.
That Mallett wasn’t well-liked and that people thought he was a dick and hated his attitude was not a secret, this talk had been going around all season. It even came out on the sidelines during games. Lloyd going ballistic on him and Mallett looking like he didn’t care, the nationally televised screaming match with Manningham, etc.
As I said, no one thinks the team is going to be awesome this year — too much to learn, too many new faces with a lot of key guys leaving for the draft. That wouldn’t have changed even if Mallett was around. Penn State may finally win a game against Michigan this year.

Since the SEC is just barely over .500 vs. other BCS conferences this century, I’d go ahead and say the other conferences are competing just fine.

Yes, a directive has been issued to all NFL players that “attended” THE Ohio State University…to immediately change their shameful promotion (based on the TP signing) to …………….THE University OF Ohio State.
Coop, any chance of a reference to THE University of Clemson?

*I* wish Mallett had stayed at Michigan, and I’m a Spartan fan. The only reason there’s a Jimmy Clausen for Heisman Yakety-Sax clip but no Ryan Mallett clip is because Michigan’s defense was three times better than Notre Dame’s, the running backs and receivers were ten times better, and the offensive line was 372 times better.

tOSU plays @ USCw on September 13. If they get by them, they still have to go thru the Big 11, which may or may not be a challenge. SEC fans never seem to respect any teams other than their own. Instead of just annointing the SEC in advance, I would like to see the season play out. Sometimes there are surprises in store for those with swelled heads.

I used to think a lot of people would change their tune after we won at Texas. Same went for when we beat Kansas State and Miami. We’ve heard that SOS crap non-stop since the beginning of the decade, and have thus scheduled Texas, USC, Va Tech, Cal, Okie, so on and so forth to stop your bitching. When we beat those teams, we’re still going to hear it.
