I took a wrong turn on the dark roads leading to the Savannah airport trying to catch an early flight last month when I turned down an unmarked road and found myself staring face to face with the Ron Paul blimp. There was a semi tractor with a telescopic rod coming out of the back and the blimp was moored to it–a portable blimp dock. Scared the shit out of me–I thought for a moment I was on another planet.
