...Auburn does, baby: spring practice starts on February 28th. Leap year, baby--it's like the chop block of the Gregorian calendar. BAM! Just freaks you all out.

Not to be a stickler, but isn’t the extra leap day the 29th?
by Cincy on Feb 20, 2008 12:52 PM EST reply actions
This gives us an extra day of practice. February 29th isn’t a real day.

Tubby said that March/April are 4 or 5 star months that grew up Bama fans and he prefers February because of it’s strong character and focus on academics.

The funny thing is Auburn’s spring practice actually starts on the 24th. Good thing this guy didn’t know that, or he might have blown a gasket.

I guess that sled isn’t gonna chop block itself.

Do the FC points listed in post #7 count? Aren’t they in the middle of a transition from FCS to FBS? Or does it even matter? Does the FC transcend division and sub-division barriers and encompass all mischief and villany committed in the off-season.

We signed the #1 long-snapper in the nation. He’s so good he can chop-block on special teams plays.
As Dr. James Andrews, renowned orthopaedic surgeon to the sports stars, would say, “These ACLs aren’t going to tear themselves.”

18 – I was working on the collusion angle between Auburn and Andrews.
It is obvious, but I was working on something “extra creative.”
In other words….
ASSHOLE, you beat me to it.
Oh, and F you for the Peach Bowl, too.

February 28th? Color me unimpressed. Ohio State already opened their Spring Practices ages ago. As in March 29th, TWO THOUSAND SEVEN. BOOYA!!!

Auburn begins spring practice before Alabama for the mere fact that has Alabama started their Spring Practice first, they would have claimed National Championship 828 and finish off the three-peat following their Championships for “Most Dumbasses to Watch a Mediocre Team Play a Pointless Spring Game” and of course the Championship for “Most often Shitting Their Pants at the End of a Season” or “How to Lose to a team from Louisiana not named LSU.” Having the #1 Recruiting Class is more like being elected President to Bama fans; you think your important but everybody else just laughs at you.

Auburn gets to go undefeated now south florida is off the schedule and replaced them with UT martin
Tubberville is 5-2 vs Saban but 0- fer vs. USC, North Carolina, South Florida, Michigan, and Georgia Tech (chan 6-6 for life gailey)

Shula used to always have the early spring practice? Coincidence?

Saban’s 0-1 against LAMO trumps all Tubby’s shortcomings. Glasses houses and stuff.

Seriously, Wes? Coming from a fan of the “school” that claims the 2004 People’s National Championship—an internet poll set up by a kid in Opelika which AU, sadly enough, still managed to lose, only to have said kid shut down the voting and lie about the results?
To say you guys suffer from some mad penis envy would be the understatement of the year. And this despite winning six in a row. Guess there’s simply no cure for some ailments.

Hey MiseanAuFan
http://www.fanblogs.com/auburn/007459.php
try reading the schedule. West Virginia was added. But i would consider it replaced the Kansas State team that scared you guys.
South Florida was scheduled as a patsy a few years ago, and dropped (BTW Shula beat South Florida when he faced them) UT Martin is on your guys schedule…if for some wierd reason you guys have 2 losses and whine why you aint in the BCS….cry about UT martin on the schedule…
Celebrate the early Spring schedule boys, Tubby saw the light of the Mike Shula school of coaching, early spring practice makes for a great 6-6 season. Awesome!!!
by rollntider on Feb 21, 2008 1:34 PM EST reply actions
We scheduled West Virginia years ago, the date was recently moved to later in the season. Tennessee Martin was added late last year.
“South Florida was scheduled as a patsy a few years ago, and dropped (BTW Shula beat South Florida when he faced them) UT Martin is on your guys schedule if for some wierd reason you guys have 2 losses and whine why you aint in the BCS .cry about UT martin on the schedule ”
So what Shula beat USF, he also beat La-Monroe, but I don’t see any Bammers calling for Shula to come back.
“Celebrate the early Spring schedule boys, Tubby saw the light of the Mike Shula school of coaching, early spring practice makes for a great 6-6 season. Awesome!!!”
When’s the last time Auburn has had a .500 season or worse? Tuberville’s first year. Ask the same question for Alabama, and the answer becomes each of the last two years (regular season).
by MiseanAuFan on Feb 21, 2008 2:14 PM EST reply actions
Oh, and one more thing, Auburn is returning the Kansas State game, but not for a few more years.
by MiseanAuFan on Feb 21, 2008 2:57 PM EST reply actions
Hey rollntider,
I know which Auburn game you are more interested in though, the one on Aug 30th. Say it.
