I hope since the Div 1-AA Univerisity of South Alabama is starting a football team they can take transfers, like USF….2 players I nominate Joey Jones to go after are Derrick “Aint No Punk Bitch ” Odom and Ryan “It’s toooo late to apologize…..its toooooo laaaate…..” Perilloux, and maybe one more in Willie Williams….
And looks like Saban wont have to burn a grayshirt and simply cut Elder to make room for the incoming class…..I am sure there will be more to follow…maybe he heard he was on the list and decided to go out with guns blazing……Was he robbing a Jared’s?

William Rufus King, only Alabaman to ever hold one of the 2 high offices, was his Vice President/Catcher.

And until recently, King County, WA was named after him. In a move of ridiculous political correctness, they renamed King County after MLK Jr, because William Rufus King was a slave owner. Nothing against MLK, who was a fine individual, but this change cost taxpayers $600k because they also changed the logo to MLK’s on every piece of government literature.

Maybe they should just rename Washington after Denzel, since George was a slave owner as well.

i don’t think most LSU fans think perrilloux was destined for greatness; rather, they’re aware that the depth chart behind him makes him look pretty good. maybe lee will live up to his potential in his first year of college football, but i doubt it.

I can’t get over this, I can’t believe anyone, especially LSU fans, can defend Ryan Perilloux as a QB. It’s like defending him as a human. It’s like defending Brandon Cox as a QB: yea he won some games but most of those games were won despite the QB.

James K Polk was an awesome President. Didn’t want the job, did what he said he would, left, never heard from him again. If only we had more like that.

Ryan Perilloux is not good. A) he almost lost the game for LSU against Auburn for a timely fumble, god bless him for trying and B) The SECCG shouldn’t have been that close. TENNESSEE people, TENNESSEE! So don’t even trying using that one, you will only be laughed at. Personally, I’ll take playing Perilloux every day of the week, the pick 6 odds against him are at least 4/1. Thats guaranteed money. But no, no LSU PLEASE keep him ad PLEASE start him, I would love for Auburn to walk leisurely into the SECCG this year.

Yep, he was brought in with Saban’s first class….although there’ll be disagreement as to whether he recruited him, or honored the offer that Shula made.

Regardless, it’s “his” player, so it’ll be interesting to see how off -the-field discipline evolves (or devolves) with this team.
