We still see him all the time here in Charlotte, and the funny thing is, he's a pretty subdued cat - provided he ain't drinking. We had a buddy who went to school with Matt Elliot, and he was with the Panthers in '96 when they made their NFCCG run. We're at dinner with Matt at Southend Brewery after one of the games, in the middle of the team. Flair is at the table to our right, Kevin Greene the table to our left. These two guys start jawing about who can talk the best trash, and then start trading shots of tequila - at least 15 each - finishing each shot off with a very loud WOOOOOOOO!!!!! Funniest. Shit. Ever. It was truly surreal. Probably my favorite Flair video on YouTube.

After the Gators whipped the Dawgs, we ventured to the landing for ritualistic alcohol gargling at Hooters. Believe it or not, the Nature Boy himself appeared with Huey Richardson (UF defensive end- first name questionable due to alcohol levels) and pounded a few pitchers with us I cannot recall a word Flair said, but that Richardson guy was frightening.
