Now to the football bit, Notre Dame started two sophomores, two juniors and a senior on their offensive line, and that was far and away the worst part of the team. It was so bad that it was damn near impossible to tell if the young skill players are any good or not. Maybe they just suck and started by default, or maybe the staff can't develop offensive linemen for shit. Either way it comes down to the same basic issue, either the offensive linemen included in the last couple of top ten classes stink or the coaching staff isn't very good. Totally anecdotal on my part, it was just one game, but I didnt walk away thinking I just saw the next "Eric Dickerson/LaDanian Tomlinson/Reggie Bush".
