MARKUS MANSON OUT AT FLORIDA
An organizational allergy to running backs will do this: Gator running back Markus Manson is, according to one of those great, great sources you can't mention, is transferring from Florida. Manson is a junior who, mired in the logjam at running back in '06 and then mired in the refusal to actually play a running back in '07, made an attempt to switch to corner when it became clear he would not see time in the offensive backfield. That didn't exactly work out, so he's gone to Valdosta State--again, according to our sources.

Manson: gone.

Jamie Harper has a video in his possession of every offensive play of Florida’s for the last 3 years.
Guess who gave it to him…

Hey, did that other Manson guy quit early in his career when his dream cult couldn’t get off the ground?
No!
He stuck it out and eventually was able to murder many people.
Marcus, you bring shame to the name of Manson.

As a guy that grew up with Manson and went to high school with him, I’m sorry to see this happen. Good luck to ya Markus.

I can’t say that he didn’t try to contribute in any way possible. He just got pushed out of the backfield, and never seemed all that comfortable playing corner.

Actually, I think the whole murdering thing was a result of dreams deferred.
His music wasn’t bad though.
Can anyone be surprised at Manson leaving? UF can’t keep backs. Kestahn Moore gone, Manson gone, Moody in…
Fuck it, we had Deshawn Wynn and managed to win a championship

Valdosta State – “Give us your tired of riding the bench, your poor academic performers, your never-in-the-huddle players, yearning to win Division II National Titles.”

Is that guy trying to tackle him by his wristband?

Good luck Marcus, I live near Valdosta, Ga (winnersville) and would love to come see you run for the wildcats.

Florida plays a running back, his name is Tim Tebow. Knock him out and Florida will only play 9 guys on offense the rest of the game.

Cincy @ # 8,
Why yes, he did attepmt a tackle with the wrist band. What you do not see, is that when he let go of the band it snapped back so hard against his skin, that he immediately dropped the ball and grasped his wrist and began hopping around pouting about how badly it stung. It was so traumatic that Coach Drayton collapsed weeping on the sidelines.

Who is this guy, Markus Manson, that you speak of?

This Dawg fan is more than elated with the news of the “next Emmit”.
Just a reminder….one dimensional offenses, ala Hawaii, are a defensive coordinators wet dream.

Unless he is regressing to high school status, Valdosta calls its team “the Blazers”.

Actually, the defender was attempting to put a wristband on Markus.
“Hey, you dropped your wristband!”

Manson left because he is 7th back after, in no particular order, Moore, Rainey, Williams, Moody, James and Harvin.
This, of course, doesn’t count Tebow.
He wouldn’t play and the scholarship can go to someone who might.
Be Reasonable.

Markus Manson is a good player. He just got into Myers dog house. Fellow players said this. If i was him I would have left earlier. He only went to a smaller college so he could use his last year of eligibilty to play. Please people know your facts. Myers offense is not RB friendly.
