I actually had a conversation with my friends about it as we watched the game. Overweight and unattractive. Not surprising that he’s jetting with the payday on the horizon, although I imagine since its so imminent, its likely she still gets a fair piece. (and does doing his work in college count as “providing support” ?)

It appears she caught him committing adultery one too many times, and cares more about hurting him than any sort of potential upcoming payday.

I would think several teams would have loved his “commitment” to the game, school, and family, and taken him higher than his physical tools would have put him, otherwise, if he is one of those guys who could be, realistically, drafted anywhere between the 3rd and 7th Rounds.

While Googling, trying to find a picture of little Miss Moffitt, I read this “up with life” article about Moffit, and how much of a good father he was, traveling over 110 miles per day, going back and forth from his “happy” as pappy home life.

Excerpts:

“…It is the first leg of his 55-mile trip to Tampa. By living so far away, Moffitt has assured a more comfortable, family-oriented life for his wife and two children. But that sacrifice means a 110-mile round trip every day. He leaves as early as 3:30 a.m. for winter workouts and arrives home as late as 7 a.m. after a road game. Moffitt has driven a Kia into the ground (“It didn’t scream linebacker,” he joked of the car), has compiled about $200 in U.S.F. parking tickets and has traveled well over 100,000 miles.
