Miami steamrolled in the Sugar Bowl that year, and quite possibly may have won it all over Sooner Nation if given the chance. I remember Bowden's comments after the Sooner victory that given how FSU played that game, maybe the U was right and deserved its chance more. That U team featured several players making a major impact on Sundays (Ed Reed, Jon Vilma, D.J. Williams, Portis, McKinnie, Shockey, etc.).
