I was almost murdered after the 2000 Alamo Bowl (’99 Season). Aggie fans have no sense of humor.

The dude from the corps of cadets however was extremely polite, even after I asked him if it was more boy scouts or hitlerjugend.

I really don’t mind the reaction on this. Even I know that hoping someone (who is not Hitler) would die is probably not the right thing to do. But I am sick of all the positive press Paterno gets.

Hows this. That asshole is living sooo long he is leaving a carbon footprint the size of Ross Ice Shelf, whatever is left of it because of that jerk. Surprisingly, JoePa took it better than the A&M establishment did.

But seeing that this is the same institution that once referred to Texas Tech as “classless clowns” in a media guide, this really shouldn’t surprise anyone.

We’re still waiting on an apology for that.

Beano Cook said it best….its like the coaching version of “Grumpy Old Men”……always trying to one up each other….because once the record is set, its going to the last man standing,and more than likely wont be broken in todays world of coaching…..younger AD’s that have coaching ADD….either the coaches leave w/in 3 yrs or the AD fires them….no matter what…..
There are no more “rocking chair ” coaching jobs meaning there are no jobs you can take til retirement at one place….its a fact…
So if Joe Pa retires or or vice versa with Bowden, my Death Pool is riding that Joe Pa is the last man standing since he is in better shape and mean as hell……Which ever one retires, its gonna be to health issues or being put out to pasture involuntarily….and my bets on Bowden to do that first

My grandma says all the old men she knows smell like money, as in old rolled up dollar bills smell, not the new money smell , the old musty money smell…..is it me, or do women actually smell a man and tell how much he’s worth? Is that a female superpower? I’m sure that kicks in around the time they start buying bra’s or something.
