Pick 3 terrible opponents, beat them because their total football funding is <100,000, then win 3 conference games and you will goto a bowl. Dont believe, look at south carolina and kentucky. Both these teams were ranked and ranked highly this season, both will be getting bowls, and both dont even have a winning conference record. NFL failure saban is a relative SEC overachiever by splitting his conference games and going 4-4. Just look at vanderbilt, theyhad bowl hopes down to the wire because they beat 3 horrible teams, then just had to win 3 of 8 against some mediocre teams. Its not that hard to look good int he SEC. I mean lets look at LSU's schedule for this year, Mississipi state....CRAP Middle Tennessee.....CRAP South Carolina.....CRAP Tulane.....CRAP Kentucky.....CRAPlike, but im not 100% sold on full crappiness Auburn......Mediocre at best, can smell like something aweful Alabama....CRAP Louisiana Tech....CRAP Mississippi......CRAP Arkansas...sure crap, but again a debatable one Tennessee.....crappy, but debatable I left off florida and virgina tech, the two teams that are more good then shitty.
