Lets see…. Auburn has had the same coach for the last decade just about, we have had probation and 25 less scholarships, our ADMIN has screwed up coaching search after coaching search, finally get a good coach to clean up 10 yrs worth of Bullshit, and Auburn still, still only has 1 SEC title, and is still mediocre and no National Championships….Auburn can beat Florida,who won a National Championship, but cant win a National Championship….so who’s fault is that?? Its undisputed that Auburn has talent….has had better talent ,hands down, than Alabama at least the last 4 yrs, but cant win a SEC Title? 1? 1 more than Alabama??Reeally?? 6 in a row? Sure. How about 0 fer in the National Championship Landscape…hell Urban Meyer waltzed in , and boom, his second year in, SEC and Undisputed Champs….but yet Tuberville is rumored to be the better Coach? I am sure there are Auburn fans that will trade 3 Alabama wins for a National Championship…You’d better do it next year Barners, dont miss another chance….

Said it on here plenty of times before. I think Tubby is a good coach, not great. And I don’t want him to leave because I want to see that asshole walking off the field at both JHS and BDS after a loss to Bama. Or maybe just BDS, as I’ve already seen it happen at JHS.

Actually, Tub’s winning record vrs Saban@LSU is a bit misleading. Since Saban’s 1st year at LSU in 2000, the home team has won that rivalry. Saban left between the years when his home win was coming up. True to form, the home win trend has continued even w/ Miles and until LSU plays @ Auburn next year, the Big Hat guy is 2-1 vrs the Big Ears guy.

Still, I ecpect Tubby to win at least one (maybe 2) more before Saban is in a position to compete for an Iron Bowl win.

And there you have it, the two faces of UAT delusion: “Tubs is too good for Auburn, he’s leaving for a better job,” or alternately, when that doesn’t happen, “He stinks, ha-ha, you have to keep him!” Like they say on The Simpsons, “Cartoons don’t have to be consistent.”

If Tuberville is so awful, how come he had a winning record against “Pearl Harbor” Saban when Flipper had far better players than he’s ever going to get in Tuscaloser?

#2 Actually, Bama should be glad Tubs is staying. He’s been spotted 25 more scholllys than his primary rival, and still has only 1 conference title in 10 years same as Bama? True, he has beaten Bama 6 straight, but who hasn’t beaten up on lately? He really has not taken advantage of perfect circumstances to turn Aubun into a dominant power, and it hasn’t happened. Let’s see what happens when he has some quality competition down the road….

Funny how Favre got so much better when he didn’t have Jags or Sherman coaching him, but I’m sure those guys will both make excellent college coaches. Just like Al Groh/Charlie Weis/etc.

I’d say TAMU got a dece guy here actually. Looking at his pro coaching record, he did really well except when all of his players were hurt or sucky (ie Brett Favre) which was in 2005.

The Texans kinda sucked for the past few years but Kubiak and him have gotten the Texans consistent this year, and out of the cellar last year. Though the big 12 is a tough conference, I definitely see them competing for a conf. title with this dude. Great snag.
