Tell me you’re kidding. Cory Boyd plays to his potential every game. He may not have the most impressive numbers, but just watch the guy. He’s an awesome runner and a good receiver. He plays as hard or harder than anyone out there, and gets results. I’d kill to have him another couple of years.

So this is what happens when each school gets 85 scholarships.

I’m going to repeat this until someone listens — when there is this much parity inherent in the system an antiquated bowl system can’t handle sorting it out.

Shit we have 8 teams are roughly equally talented, but have different win loss records versus varying degrees of competition, oh and we have one team who’s undefeated but has the 2nd weakest schedule in all the nation — what do we do?

a.) design a playoff where a team must come play well against solid competition for 3 weeks

b.) hope to choose the best two (the deciding factors in best are up to your discretion) and have them play the only truly meaningful game instead of 7 meaningful (read:CASHCOW) playoff games
