OSU has no chance–NO CHANCE–at winning the BCS title game if they get in it. Think about it:

Last year the reason they lost was that the layoff they had was longer than the one Florida had. This year, regardless of who they play, OSUs layoff will be longer. Therefore, they can’t win.

I can’t complain, because LSU beat us fair and square. But you have to wonder what the outcome would have been if they had called that block in the back on LSU’s first touchdown run. You hate to see a game of this magnitude come down to a blown call.

You can all laugh for now, but this was a rebuilding year that saw the Buckeyes play for the national title. While the outcome wasn’t what I hoped for we will be back again next year. I’m just happy that Tressell gets so much out of his teams and maintains a level of class unheard of in college football.

For all of you claiming that it was SEC speed that made the difference, how did that speed work out in the Music City Bowl where Alabama lost to those slow Hoosiers?

I stand by my belief that Nick Saban is the root of all evil in the universe and should be roasted in a pot of tar at the very least. Why people don’t realize this I’ll never understand.

Congrats LSU. You played a good game and got some breaks, but we’ll be back next year. Enjoy it while you can.

The WVa fans were pleasantly surprised when they showed up at Nippert Stadium this week to see lots and lots of beer booths. Hell, our proud brewing heritage even demands that we have vendors – that’s right, COOOOOLD BEER HERE!!! vendors – at the games.

I overheard the WVa fans behind me saying, “damn, I love beer.”

Judging from the # of fights, UC may have to discontinue the sale of beer if the team continues to win. Tough call, that.

WVa fans were a very good group.
