#15 – Up until you made me remember the pig dies and the chicken lives, I thought Sir Oinksalot was more committed due to the variety of his breakfast meat offerings. Ham, Bacon, Canadian bacon, pork sausage…the list goes on. That’s fucking commitment to a meal, sir.

Mr. Pelican Pants – I caught the tail end of it rebroadcast on ESPN Thursday night. That little nugget of crazy was directed at the Big-12 officiating from the week before. In Leach’s breakfast college football game breakfast metaphor the coaches are the pig and the refs are the chickens, implying that the officials don’t really care if they get something right or not because they lack commitment. Then he removed all doubt and flatly stated that the officiating sucked his left nut [paraphrasing.] The total tab for that was $10,000 according to ESPN.

Having been to only one game officiated by a Big-12 crew and based on that statistically insignificant sample size I’ve got to agree with Leach. That crew sucked open ass.

Mike Leach made a bizarre comment, that I have heard thru various self help books,Lord knows I need them these past 2 seasons as an Alabama fan…
“Coach Leach was quoted: There are 2 animals that contribute to breakfast…the chicken and the pig, only one makes a COMMITMENT…the pig…OSU is the chicken, and we are the Pig, because we are committed….” and Mike Leach should be committed….
The jist is the chicken lays the egg for breakfast,the contribuition and the pig dies for breakfast,i.e. the commitment…Did anyone else catch that whacked out interview????
