BLOGTOBERFEST: JAKE LOCKER EATS PAIN EDITION
The finest of the finest of the finest of the Blogosphere, all just waiting for your otherwise productive eyes. Your company’s future=ska-roooed.
Washington qb and Tim Tebow double Jake Locker will not go out of bounds even though he suffered a hellacious hit along the sidelines that knocked him out of the game. Hey, it worked for Dave Ragone, and if that isn’t a ringing endorsement of something, we don’t know what is.
Deuce of Davenport makes a bit of time for the Cal band doing video game theme music. Name them all and we will get a live girl to sleep with you! Ha! Because video game guys never get laid! Get it!
Black Heart, Gold Pants has a maturity test for you. We failed miserably.
As usual, an economist points out just how stupid and irrational you are. Ohio State economist Trevon Logan studies how voters vote in the AP poll, and comes to the following conclusions in a new paper. His conclusions:
Contrary to conventional wisdom, I find that (1) it is better to lose later in the season than earlier, (2) AP voters do not pay attention to the strength of a defeated opponent, and (3) the benefit of winning by a large margin is negligible. I conclude by noting how these results inform debates about a potential playoff in college football.
Meaning the “once you’re good, it’s hard to convince people you’re un-good” theory of AP voting is likely true. Another interesting question is what we’ll call the “Kansas Question:” how long must a team win out before polls designate them as being legitimate contenders?
Chad Henne joins Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson as openly enthusiastic public Soulja Boys. Life before Flash animation was a dark, sad place.
Nebraska’s rage knows no depths. This is proof.

Classy.
In other news, Sylvester Croom is now one of the greatest coaches ever because he is both Black and Bowl Eligible. Immense Applause abounds. Cue Al Sharpton.

you must not have been at the South Carolina v. Florida game when the Florida band did a video game segment in its half-time show.
Or maybe you were too busy counting Tim Tebow’s touchdowns on our defense to notice.

I do not know who is hotter, the foul-mouthed, hard drinkin’, smokin’ blonde, or the other one with the nice round hooters…

After watching that Husker video I can’t help but think that “Motor Boat Mondays” would fit in perfectly here.

Took the maturity test… How about a little better warning. Sitting in the back of a boring design meeting and popped that thing open. I should have planned an escape route, as I am now stuck. I snorted out loud, and then tried to fake cough, I even thought about trying to cry. I am still struggling to keep the chuckles in, my god is it hot in here. I am sweating, red as a beat, no doubt. So yes, it made me laugh.
Did I pass?

Does this count because I’m a Cal alum?
If I got all of them…
1) Pong
2) Tetris
3) Mortal Combat
4) Pokemon
5) Legend of Zelda
6) Super Mario Bros.
7) Super Mario World
They just ripped these all off of Super Smash Bros anyway. Greatest. Video. Game. Ever.
Sigh… notice how none of them are playing NCAA ‘08? Game over, man. Game over.

Not only did they do it at the USC game, the good ol’ Pride of the Sunshine performed the video game show at the Vandy game. I hear they also did it at the FL-GA game, as well.
UF didn’t have any of those fancy Pong formations, but they did have a giant Mario jump over a fireball.

The Cal band has just gone up hugely in my estimation – not least because of the 3 stooges tackle on the faux Tommy Trojan. tOSU pales by comparison.
BTW, the main clue that those female husker fans are not from California is the single process bleach jobs and the real tits. You can bleach your teeth to near-neon but some things have to be faked properly.

They did do it @ FL/GA as I was in the GA club and didn’t hear the end of it.
I guess that’s our ‘away game’ show?
At least we aren’t doing the theme from Titanic at the Nat’l Championship game…

Nothing but love for the Cal band, but the Michigan Marching Band did basically the same show in 2004.
The only thing nerdier than that? the MMB’s Monty Python show from 2005.

I failed the maturity test several times over. I laughed until I was in tears.
I then re-opened it again and again and laughed every single time. I can’t help it – it’s even funnier than our run defense.

Here’s hoping that motor boating becomes a new fad. One can only hope and pray. The 180 on the dude’s attitudes was awesome, one can only think that if the Islamist extremists were out there tackling some bunda none of this shit would happen.
Yea I didn’t get the Pokemon one, but that was my guess. Yea those kids are fuckin’ sophomores now.
